What you’ll be doing:

We are looking for a proactive, organised and recruitment-focused HR & Recruitment Coordinator to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced recruiter who enjoys taking ownership of the recruitment process, identifying high-quality talent and delivering a positive candidate experience, while also supporting day-to-day HR operations.

Recruitment will be a key focus of this role. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in internal recruitment, with proven experience in direct sourcing, headhunting and using job boards to identify, engage and attract suitable candidates. You will be confident managing multiple vacancies, building candidate pipelines and working closely with hiring managers to understand their requirements and deliver effective recruitment solutions.

Alongside recruitment, you will coordinate onboarding and induction, maintain accurate employee records and provide general HR administrative support, working closely with the HR & Recruitment Manager.

Recruitment & Talent Sourcing

  • Manage recruitment activities from vacancy advertising and candidate sourcing through to interview coordination.

  • Proactively source candidates through direct sourcing, headhunting, job boards and professional networks.

  • Screen CVs, conduct initial screening calls and shortlist suitable candidates.

  • Coordinate interviews, assessments and maintain regular communication with candidates and hiring managers.

  • Build candidate pipelines, maintain recruitment trackers and provide vacancy updates.

Onboarding & HR Administration

  • Coordinate onboarding, inductions, pre-employment checks and new starter documentation.

  • Prepare employment contracts and HR correspondence using approved templates.

  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records within PeopleHR and other systems.

  • Support probation reviews, appraisals, absence records, employee changes and leaver administration.

  • Respond to routine employee queries and provide general HR support.

Training, Reporting & Compliance

  • Coordinate training bookings and maintain training records and matrices.

  • Monitor outstanding recruitment, HR and training actions, following up as required.

  • Support HR reporting, quality management processes and compliance with company procedures, including ISO 9001.

  • Identify opportunities to improve recruitment and HR processes.

About you:

We are looking for someone who is confident sourcing talent, highly organised and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

  • Essential experience and skills:

    • Minimum 3 years’ experience in recruitment, ideally in internal recruiting and a fast-paced commercial environment.

    • Proven experience in direct candidate sourcing and headhunting, rather than relying solely on applicants responding to job adverts.

    • Hands-on experience using job boards and online recruitment platforms to identify and attract suitable candidates.

    • Experience managing multiple vacancies and coordinating recruitment activity from initial sourcing through to interview stages.

    • Strong CV screening, candidate assessment and telephone screening skills.

    • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the confidence to engage candidates and hiring managers.
