AutoCAD Technician
Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CAD Technician to join our operations team. This role is primarily focused on supporting our fire engineering and building safety teams through the creation of detailed schematics and technical drawings. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer-aided design and proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, coupled with a good understanding of building regulations and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and produce detailed schematics and technical drawings in line with project requirements.
Collaborate closely with fire engineers and building safety consultants to define project specifications and scope.
Assist in the preparation of reports and other documentation to support fire engineering and building safety efforts.
Review supplied and created drawings to ensure compliance with current standards, guidance, and legislation.
Maintain knowledge of current Building Regulations and construction methods.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously with the support of a project manager.
Qualifications and Skills:
Proficient in CAD software, including AutoCAD and Revit.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Familiarity with Building Regulations and current legislation and guidance.
Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with diverse teams.
Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple priorities.
