Last Friday we were finally able to celebrate 15years of 4site Consulting, with a joint Christmas and Anniversary party held at Essex County Cricket Club.
It was really important for us that we celebrated such a milestone, as we’re very proud of what we have achieved over the past 15 years.
A family company at heart, 4site was founded in 2006 in order to provide simple but professional safety support to Property Managers and Landlords. Fast forward to 2021, with quite possibly the toughest year behind us all, we’re excited to be celebrating 15 years in business.
We have managed to grow consistently over the last 15 years whilst providing crucial safety advice and services to our clients. Our team has grown rapidly in the last few years alone, and will continue to grow into 2022 and beyond.
How has technology supported our growth?
One of the key milestones for 4site, and a huge contributing factor to our growth, was the decision to move our software development in-house and create an online system for clients to manage their compliance for free.
One of our most recent introductions: ‘Smart Safety’, is a project that we worked hard with industry professionals to develop and stands as an additional feature to on our web portal for our clients to use for free.
How has the industry changed over the past 15 years?
Since the introduction of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order in 2005, the industry has seen a gradual shift towards prioritising health, safety and fire. Although a gradual change was noticed, recent tragic incidents have undoubtedly caused a dramatic culture change in the industry.
More recently, the introduction of the Fire Safety Act 2021 and the Building Safety Bill have shifted a heavy focus onto specifics such as external wall systems, compartmentation, and fire doors etc. In turn, we have been pro-active in our approach to offer support and new services in these areas.
So, what does the future hold?
For the industry, we predict that the future holds an amplified focus on flat entrance doors and increase in the need for Building Safety Managers. For 4site, we will continue to cater for these and other safety requirements of property managers in the future.
With further growth expected, we are currently expanding our office space and fleet in order to reinforce both our back-office team and our operations team.
Earlier this month, we attended the IRPM Winter Conference in Westminster as Platinum Sponsors and we are very much looking forward to taking part in more industry events and conferences in the upcoming years.
Here’s to the next 15 years and beyond!
