Meet the team: Chloe White
At 4site Consulting, our people play a vital role in making sure our clients feel supported, informed and confident throughout their compliance journey. Behind every quotation, booking and client conversation is a team committed to keeping things organised, responsive and running smoothly.
In this Meet the Team spotlight, we introduce Chloe White, Client Services Coordinator at 4site Consulting. Chloe plays an important role in supporting our clients with day-to-day queries, preparing quotations, assisting with bookings and helping ensure inspections are arranged efficiently across our health, safety, fire, asbestos and water risk management services.
As 4site continues to support property managers and responsible persons across the UK property compliance and building safety sector, Chloe’s work helps ensure our clients receive a helpful, friendly and professional service from the first enquiry through to confirmed attendance.
What does a typical day look like for you?
A typical day is usually a busy mix of taking calls, preparing quotes and helping customers with their bookings. No two days are exactly the same, which keeps things interesting!
A big part of my role is making sure clients have the information they need, helping them get inspections arranged and working with the team to keep everything moving smoothly.
What did you do before you worked at 4site?
Before joining 4site, I worked for an insurance company in an admin role. I helped arrange cameras to be fitted in commercial lorries, made sure the equipment was working properly and supported customers with their day-to-day camera alert checks. It was a really customer-focused role, so it gave me lots of useful experience in organisation, communication and problem-solving.
What's one thing people might be surprised to learn about your job?
People might be surprised by just how often we have to ask for access details for sites- even from clients we work with all the time! It is one of those things that sounds simple, but it is such an important part of making sure inspections can go ahead smoothly.
What advice would you give to property managers trying to stay compliant?
My biggest advice would be to plan ahead and get inspections booked in early, so nothing risks going past its renewal date. It takes a lot of pressure away when things are arranged in advance. For example, we can book communal door inspections quarterly and even pre-book the next four inspections, which is a great way to stay organised and keep everything on track.
What changes have you seen in the industry during your career?
One of the main changes has been the BS 9792 guidance around renewal and review dates for health, safety and fire risk assessments. There is definitely more focus now on keeping assessments up to date and making sure the correct timeframes are followed. It means good planning is more important than ever.
What's the most unusual issue you've encountered as part of your role?
One of the most unusual requests I have come across was someone asking us to complete a fire door inspection on their bathroom toilet door! It definitely gave us a bit of a laugh, as it’s not quite the usual type of fire door inspection request we deal with.
What’s your favourite thing about working here?
The people and the environment. I have never felt so happy and comfortable in a work place before. I can really be myself here and I look forward to coming and seeing everyone everyday.
What aspects do you like about the company culture?
I like that it is always okay to ask questions. Everyone is approachable, supportive and happy to help, including the directors and senior management team. It makes such a difference working somewhere where you feel comfortable learning and growing.
What advice would you give someone considering a career at 4site?
I would say that there is not much advice needed! Everyone is friendly and helpful and will guide you through.
